All 3 LG appliances croaked, including our LG dryer, (we had to put in a new "motherboard" (brains), which was really expensive)...so when we lost the washer we decided to just get both brand new, and a better brand in Whirlpool. We always had gas, but opted for electric this time. I do love it, as it has choice of options in drying times/temps etc...and I can use timed dry again!!...which I love for dewrinkling items quickly. It heats right up and does a great job!

The only reason I'm not giving this 5 stars is because turning the washing machine on can sometimes act buggy. I'm not sure if I got one with some sort of electrical issue, but sometimes holding the start button does not work and it takes 20 minutes or so to get it running. But the functions are really nice and you can customize each load as needed. It's also extremely quiet and easy to forget it's running. I do genuinely love these machines

I bought this dryer in feb 2019 and it hasnt worked properly since. It keeps stopping in mid of cycle and showing E3 or F3 which means it needs service. Whirlpool keeps sending technicians who keep guessing wrong what the issue is. They have replaced a couple of parts already and it still doesn't work. I would not recommend anyone buy this unless if you want to risk being busy with technicians until the warrantee expires and then need to buy a new one.

I bought this 1 3 weeks ago. Only 1 problem, when I tried to dry a queen size quilt the quilt keep getting rolled up so that it didn't get dry in the middle. I kept having to shake it out and keep trying to dry it over and over. In regular loads it's does a great job.

This washer was mid-to-lower priced in the selection of front load washers at my local BestBuy, but it is a master at cleaning. My previous machine was the most expensive Maytag front loader, and this machine beats it by a mile.
First of all, it's American made, and by purchasing this, I know I supported a family on my home continent to put food on their table.
Second, I don't have to think about measuring the detergent, because I just pour it into the bin at the bottom for Load-N-Go.
Lastly, it handles all my clothes nicely and leaves them very soft and like-new. The washing rhythms are very easy on my clothes and towels. Everything comes out wonderfully clean.
