The Annoying me after some thing is finished warming up is going to be the death of me. There has to be a way to disable this LONG beeping sound that happens every 10 seconds until you open the door!!!

I had this microwave for less than 3 years and the fuse started blowing when I opened the microwave door. I replaced the fuse and the door switches and now the microwave is making a weird hissing noise! This is not the first time I had a problem with Frigidaire appliances. I will never buy anything by Frigidaire anymore! Worst appliance company ever.

This product came with a new renovated kitchen stove/dishwasher and microwave. Less than 2 years later. We have started to experience it tripping our circuit breaker every 48 hours. We initially thought we had electrical issues only to find out it is specific to the microwave. Replacement is inevitable and hopefully it won't burn out our outlet in the process. Extremely disappointed in the product.

I purchased my home in 2017 and the early part of 2019 the microwaved stopped working. I called Frigidaire and wes informed that my warranty had passed. Had to buy a cheap counter top microwave in the mean time. Now I will have to purchase a new Over the Range Microwave . Not sure if I want a Frigidaire.

Loved the microwave when it was working. Everything worked great, but it started to trip the breaker and not even turn on anymore. Did not give it any higher starts because it only lasted 4 years. I still have a counter top microwave that is probably 10-15 years old that I am using for a replacement right now. I paid too much money for the microwave to go out in 4 years!!!

I have never had a microwave go out so quickly. Called and paid for repairmen who said I will need to buy another as this one is not worth repairing. Had only for short period of time - unable to find this one on website. I Called 5 x And was unable to speak with anyone. Finally got someone on chat who tells me the model is discontinued and gives option for replacement. The only reason I was considering Frigidaire replacement is because the range and dishwasher are and they were a set.

This product is trash. We've had it three years and it's done. Just months after we bought it, the Frigidaire logo rubbed off the front of the microwave. The next year, the door glass fell down inside the door. This year it started tripping the breaker every tenth time you shut the door. Last night it started tripping the breaker merely by existing. Reset the breaker, it would flip off immediately. So it's done. Worthless. I expect a Frigidaire product, especially for how much we paid, to last longer than 3 years. Reading the other comments, this seems to be a KNOWN issue and Frigidaire has done nothing in this time to alert people or make things right. Now, we have two sockets that are shorted out from this product (we unplugged and moved it to another outlet to verify it was the microwave, not our fuse box). We had planned to purchase all new Frigidaire appliances over time for our kitchen, but we'll be choosing another brand from now on.

This microwave was manufactured in 2015 and has already went out, won't heat. From seeing the other reviews its easy to understand why it is a now discontinued model. This is the second Frigidaire microwace that I have replaced in 8 years. No more.

I bought this microwave in November 2017, so I™™ve had it just over 3 years and it stopped working (Completely dead, buttons don™™t work). 3 years is VERY SHORT lifespan for a microwave, especially for one that is not used a lot. I have tried to stick with Frigidaire so that all of my appliances match but this the second Frigidaire microwave I have owned and clearly they don™™t last.

Came with new home. In less than 2 years it was shutting down the braker. Frigidaire came and repaired. 10 months later the same issue. This time they wanted to charge 99 to come and fix it. Might as well buy a new one...but it won't be Frigidaire.

I bought this Microwave with through my builder when I bought my new home. He only carried Frigidaire appliances so we went with it only upgraded to the gallery series for all our appliances. Home is only two years old and this microwave has gone out on us a total of 5 times. The first time was two weeks after the warranty had run out. I called Frigidaire to see if I could get an extended warranty but was told they did not sell extended warranties for their microwave was offered an extended warranty for the refrigerator which also had to have the ice maker repaired. So far I have spent $135 per service twice in the last two years because a faulty fuse keeps burning out. I finally gave out on the 5 time and have decided to replace the unit with an LG Microwave. This microwave has been a huge disappointment. If I could give it no stars I would.

This microwave was installed in my newly built house. It has tripped the breaker several times and quit working. Today it tripped the breaker again and it will not come back on at all. When the electrician came out to look at it he said it had died. Very disappointed in a major appliance not lasting longer than 2 years. I will think twice before purchasing a Frigidaire product again in the future if they will need replaced so quickly and I am very upset with the responses in the reviews that were from Frigidaire.

Like everybody else has said, 2 years in and it's dead. The otr microwave came with the new house I bought and it stopped working. First, when pressing the start button it would trip the breaker. Now it just will not turn on. Is there anything else you guys (customer service) can do besides saying it has to be on it's on own dedicated outlet and to call the 1 800 number? At least a recommendation on how to fix it.

I moved into the my home in October 2017 with these brand new appliances. It has only been 2 years and the microwave completely just stopped working. I called customer service and the only thing that can be done at this time is to call a service center which will cost $100 + dollars to come out and take a look at the product. I just don't think that this is fair when it is obvious that this is a manufacture issue. I would understand if others did not have the same issue but it is clear that numerous people did.

What a disappointment!! Even a $50 microwave would last for 4-5 years. I have never seen brand new microwave died in less than 2 years and while I was researching the issue found that a LOT of PEOPLE faced exact same issue ™¦ I completely agree with other reviewers that despite several reports of exact same issue, Frigidaire is not recalling this model, why? Do you want just customer™™s money and does not want To own your mistake?? Builder installed all Frigidaire appliances and I would never buy Frigidaire products & I will stop all my friends and family from buying this junk brand ™¦

Worked fine until I microwaved something for 1 minute, then when I added 30 seconds more it flipped a breaker, every time I flip the breaker back and try it, it trips the breaker again. All the recent reviews say the same thing, same behavior, all past the one year warranty, but before the two year mark. Lots of the others were built in March 2017 as well, must not have been a good batch.

This produce with the house new in 2017 and died unexpectedly at a little over a year but not quite a year and a half. The second one we replaced the original with just died today, again at over a year but not making one and a half years (been in the house less than three years). Going to replace with a different manufacturer. I am an electrician and no it isn't the circuit.

This microwave came in our newly built home and was manufactured in April 2017. Within the last 6 months, we have spent a good amount of money to fix the same issue twice and replace the same part, just for the issue to happen again, and we are refusing to spend more money to fix the same issue a third time, just for it to continue happening. (When pausing time to open the microwave during cooking, it will break a part within the microwave and the microwave will go completely dead until that part is replaced again). When attempting to resolve the issue, the Fridigedaire customer support agent just simply suggested that "we do not open the microwave door until time has been cancelled out or make sure we pull the center of the handle rather than the bottom." However, this is a common practice to stop cooking halfway through time to stir/flip food. This practice should not be breaking an almost new microwave.

Super irritated! My microwave was installed into my brand new house in 2017 and after 2 years stopped working properly. Everything works properly until you press the start button which trips the breaker EVERYTIME. I spent $150 for an electrician to come out, because I thought it was a wiring issue, only to have the microwave continue to do the same thing. I now have an empty spot above my stove, which looks absolutely awful, and $150 less in my pocket. This microwave was a piece of junk. I wish I had read the reviews before I tried to fix it. I want nothing Frigidaire in my house.

Hilarious- apparently they designed this microwave to only last 2 years. Like every other review on here, I bought mine in 2017 & now 2 years later, it no longer works. I bought it for a rental unit, my tenant RARELY uses it & it still only lasted 2 years. What a waste- I won't be purchasing any Frigidaire appliances in the future. I don't know why Frigidaire bothers replying "Oh no! Contact us..." b/c that doesn't help the $250+ we all wasted on this piece of junk. And I actually already DID contact the 800 line & a very uninterested agent told me I could make an appt for a tech to come out for a $100 service fee + parts. At that point, you're better off investing in a new (non-Frigidaire) microwave.

Microwave won't turn on anymore after 2 years. We were heating up dinner and just after opening the door it popped the circuit breaker. We removed from mount and tried another outlet, no luck.... Never had an appliance go out so quickly.... Would like to talk to customer service about this.

The microwave came with the house built by DR Horton in 2017. It is now dead. Every time I try to start the microwave it trips the breaker. I have tested the wiring from the plug to the breaker and there is no problem. It is very disappointing that I can get only two years out of a microwave. The last microwave I had, which I should have brought with me when I moved, was going on 15 years. The only problem I had with that one is the handle broke off after 13 years of use. Since there are so many other comments that are the same it seems like there is a quality issue that needs to be addressed. Would not recommend this product.

I moved into a new house December 2017. This was purchased along with the entire matching set of Stove/oven, refrigerator and dishwasher... This product has always been something cheap even tho it costs a great deal of money. The door was always hard to open and easily close, very loud too. Well it's October 2019 and it just completely stopped working and won't turn on, warmed up my babies milk bottle, and it popped my circuit breaker after just opening the door. Now it doesn't even turn on. Frigidaire isn't anything good anymore, after owning the other matching stainless steel appliances.... I feel as tho my fridge and dishwasher could be next, those just don't feel made of good qaulity.

This microwave came with my new home. Within two years, it started tripping the breaker. Had an electrician out and our wiring was fine. We had microwave repairmen come out to fix it 5 times. This microwave was in the new home we purchased. They have been out to fix it 4 times in less than a year for the same problem. When we go to use it and hit the time to cook it blows the breaker. We have to go out to reset the breaker multiple times before it will work. We have had an electrician out to see if there was a problem with either the plug or the breaker but they are fine. We were told the Frigidaire doesn™™t have a lemon law do at the end of the year warranty we will have to buy another new microwave. As of this writing I am currently waiting for a 5th repair

I bought this in 2017 during a major renovation. After a recent power outage the microwave will not start. Circuit and outlet work fine. Very disappointed and see this is an issue with this model. I have already had to replace a Frigidaire dishwasher within six months of purchase and now two years later have to replace the microwave. Slowly switching out products to KitchenAid. So disappointed.

After reading the reviews posted here, I see we have the same problem as many others. I wish we had read the reviews first, because we also changed the fuse and inspected the wiring and nothing fixed the issue. For a month or so, we could reset the breaker and the microwave would work for 5-6 more uses before blowing the circuit. Now it powers up, but as soon as you hit the start button, it blows...every time. Currently shopping for a different brand. This was installed by flippers when we bought our newly renovated home in 2017. Lasted 2 years. Shopping for a different brand.

Over the last 3 years, we replaced all appliances with Fridgedaire products. I am losing faith in the quality of the brand [due to this microwave as well as our Fridge]. Focusing on the microwave, it began running on/off consistently, without cooking, once closing the door 6 + months ago. Last month it wouldn't stop running while off (as if it was cooking). Had to unplug to make it stop. Cost to bring the repairman and fix is the cost of a new microwave.

We got this microwave with our builders package just over two years ago and now the heating trips our breaker every time you hit start. The fan, lights and timer all work but the moment you try to heat food power is gone. If this was 10 or even 5 years old I could understand a problem like this occurring but not on a unit basically two years old. Worthless piece of junk, my family will never buy Frigidaire products again and will be replacing all of our current working ones too!Not worth the money and horrible quality.

I usually do not write reviews, but seeing how many people have had a similar experience, I want to make sure that people are aware of it before buying it. And I understand that it is outside of the 12 month warranty, but a well taken care microwave should not die 16 months after buying it.

This product was purchased with my home and quit working after 23 months. I did purchase the warranty and was advise that it was considered a pre-existing damage. This was an absolute waist as I did not choose this product for my home. I was given 3 numbers for persons who repair microwaves no of which did. So I'm stuck with a microwave in my wall that does not work.
