First new units in 17 years. Our previous LG Steam units were getting tired. Our repairman suggested Electrolux. We have to have stackable appliances due to our new home design (LG had stackable hardware kit available). Getting used to them. Ask me again in 17 years! Do miss interior lights and they need a low suds detergent, wish they had an alarm volume control. They are very quiet.

When my washer broke (again) and the repairman gave it last rites, I decided it was time to get a stackable unit to save space. I thought stackables required a compromise in quality just to cut the laundry room footprint in half, but I was in for a very pleasant surprise! The Electrolux Tower has huge capacity in both units, much bigger than the stand-alone units they hauled away, and more thoughtful, practical features than I could have invented on my own, all of them useful to me depending on load. The dryer seems almost psychic, ending at precisely the right moment to leave each batch fluffy and never over-dried. And quiet™"so quiet I forget it until hearing the little ™all done™ tone. I really couldn™™t be more pleased.

I am totally satisfied with my new washer/dryer combo. I did a lot of research before buying and every aspect of the features I read about are true. The wash cycles are amazing, from very light wash to heavy duty work clothes and the dryer, with its large capacity, dries quickly and without wrinkles. I never even thought about Electrolux when I began my search as I always associated them with excellent vacuum cleaners. I'm so glad I took the time and checked them out because now they are a brand I'm happy to have and to recommend to other people.

It's still very new but my wife likes it. Replaced a 17yo LG washer/dryer stack as the dryer drum was warping and have to have stackable units. Recommended by our appliance repairman. Very quiet, only noticeable noise is the water drainage during spin cycle. Also the electronics are separated even if they look like a single unit. Ask me again in 17 years!

We needed a stacked unit for our new house and while we had a lot of options, I didn't want the stackable units so the dryer controls would be way up top. That limited us to these new machines that are one unit and have the controls in the middle. Perfect. The only hesitation is if one or the other goes bad you may need to replace the whole unit. But it is very quiet, runs great, and does what it is supposed to do.

MAJOR DESIGN FLAW. Every other washer sold today has a little trap door on the bottom front of the machine, where you can access the washing machine filter. This is because pet hair, small beads, coins, and other things that clog the drain hose are captured in that little cylinder & could stop drainage. This filter should be cleaned out by *YOU* 1-4x a year. IT IS A MAJOR DESIGN FLAW THAT THIS FILTER IS LOCATED AT THE BACK OF THE UNIT AND CAN ONLY BE ACCESSED BY A SERVICEMAN ($$$).

Purchased Jan 2025 and within 60 days, a terrible smell started emanating from the unit. It was not coming from the drum, the seal, or the detergent drawer. It's coming from inside/underneath. It's so bad I have to hold my breath when going into the laundry room. Strangely, it goes away when I start the washer, which is telling me that something isn't draining properly or needs cleaning and the fresh water is flushing it out and then builds up again within 48 hours. Filed a warranty claim but the technician was no help and suggested that I clean the filter. Naturally, there appears no way to clean the filter. There's nothing about it in the manual and I cannot access it from taking the back panel off. Such a terrible design to have no way to clean the filter - how is that possible?! Wildly unhappy and perplexed by the smell of a dead animal in my laundry room with a brand new washer/dryer.

I had to buy a new set, repairs and things going out on my old Fridgidaire ended up demanding the situation. So far my Electrolux is working great. It is a bigger capacity than my old set, takes up a bit more room in the laundry room than I would like but I do like that I can do bigger loads. very disappointing quality, I had to return my new tower because it was overheating to the point it was too hot to touch, after getting a replacement delivered I tried to register it with Electrolux for the warranty where I had to wait for an hour to speak with someone while they kept spamming me with marketing messages...... I ended up purchasing the extended warranty at great expense because have no faith in the quality of this brand new appliance. also i had a 6 month old fridgidair fridge that I noticed is the same manufacturer, that broke down after 6 months and had to go thru the inconvenience of a warranty repair with zero compensation. this company is a disaster

We have a fairly compact laundry room in our house...mostly due to keeping a freezer in the same room. So a washer and drier that could be stacked was our best option. This unit is already packaged that way. It makes it easier to use the controls, the doors both open the same direction (although you can change stand alone units doors to match), and turns out the size of each is larger than most individual units. We had it delivered and installed and have experienced no issues.
